After a crisp 3-0 start to the season, Kentucky’s world came tumbling down right before their eyes.
Starting quarterback Terry Wilson suffered a season-ending leg injury against Eastern Michigan, leading to backup quarterback Sawyer Smith taking the reins to only go winless in three starts against Florida, at Mississippi State and at South Carolina.
Now, with two weeks to prepare for a matchup against the Arkansas Razorbacks, head coach Mark Stoops and his staff will need to work out the kinks.
