2 Cats among top 30 NBA Draft prospects for 2020

I wouldn’t be shocked if we end up with more guys hearing their names called in the first round

One topic of conversation that arises once we start getting closer and closer to basketball season is who will be in the 2020 NBA Draft?

Kyle Boone of cbssports.com has the first draft rankings for the 2020 season, and two Kentucky players are projected as first-round picks.

First of all, the current projected #1 pick is Cole Anthony of the North Carolina Tar Heels. He just edged out Anthony Edwards of the Georgia Bulldogs for the top spot.

The first Kentucky player we see on the board is Tyrese Maxey. He is projected as the #6 pick in the draft.

As the season approaches, Maxey has been one of the most talked about players for this team and is expected to be our best player when it is all said and done. I think Maxey is going to be a fan favorite and one of the top guys in college basketball all season long.

Kahlil Whitney is the other Cat that we have projected in the first round as he is current sitting at #17.

I think Whitney will only climb in the draft boards as the season progresses. He might get off to a slow start, but as he gains experience, I think he will become a force for this year’s team.

Despite Maxey and Whitney being the only two players projected in the first round, I won’t be surprised if we see a few more Cats play their way into the top 30 as they season progresses.

It is going to be a fun year to watch these guys grow and develop as they make that push for March.
