The Kentucky Wildcats go down to Columbia and get absolutely embarrassed by the Gamecocks,
It might have been the worst performance by a Stoops-led team in his tenure as they basically showed no fight or looked like they even wanted to be there. The defense did fight hard to keep it fairly close, but the offense was MIA for virtually the entire game.
Nothing on the offensive side of the ball worked. The run was stopped almost instantly every time, and Sawyer Smith looked dreadful. he looks completely not healthy.
Eventually, Kentucky switched to Lynn Bowden at QB late in the game and that result ended in a Kentucky touchdown. Just saying.
All-in-all, it really was a pathetic performance tonight by Kentucky. It was reminiscent of the Joker Philips teams, which is not good.

It's hard to believe this same team probably should have beat Florida.

Most of the focus on Twitter seems to be on Sawyer Smith and he hasn’t been good (and is probably hurt). But this is an all systems failure on Offense

South Carolina isn’t even good (neither is Miss St) and Kentucky can’t do ANYTHING.
Positives for Kentucky tonight: managed not to get shut out. That’s pretty much it.

Leaving Sawyer Smith in the game to continue to kill his confidence and injure him further is an inexcusable move by the coaching staff. Zero reason for him to still be in the game.

Dude you’re just hurting your QB. This is insane to keep him in. INSANE! You’re letting him get hurt. I don’t understand. I’m so pissed off that I’m calm.

Stoops and his team have gotten flat out punked and embarrassed. Doesn’t matter if QB is hurt, defense has not shown up, O line who was supposed to be so good have been Swiss cheese, WR drops, communication errors...the list goes on and on...

Max Duffy has 401 punt yards tonight. Four football fields worth of punting.

The preseason script for UK was consistent. Hope the defense does not take too big a step back and that the offense will make up for that if it does. The defense has been solid if not spectacular. The offense has been? Was Terry Wilson this invaluable?

Stand by what I said about Kentucky's defense at halftime, warts and all. Playing their asses off, especially considering how much those guys have been on the field.

Has anyone ever thrown more passes to no one than Sawyer Smith?

5 plays, 84 yards, 7 points.

LYNN BOWDEN IS THE GREATEST QUARTERBACK EVER.
I just want Kentucky Football to matter. Tonight set us back. And recruiting...who knows the impact.

When I die let Kentucky football lower me into the ground so they can let me down one last time.
