With the fall recruiting period in full swing, John Calipari and his staff continue to travel across the country in search of future Wildcats.
According to Jake Weingarten, Kentucky is visiting Jonathan Kuminga, Devin Askew and Jaden Hardy this week.
Kentucky checking out two of the top juniors in the country today as they sent assistants in to see both Devin Askew and Jon Kuminga, a source told @Stockrisers.

They will have an assistant check out Jaden Hardy tomorrow. 2021 now a priority.
We already knew Kentucky would visit Askew this week after Louisville Cardinals head coach Chris Mack did so on Monday. This is shaping up to be the first major Cal vs. Mack recruiting battle since the former became head coach of Louisville last season. And while he’s been rumored to be a reclass option, Askew continues to say he’ll remain in 2021.
This is the second time this month that Kentucky has visited Kuminga, who is ranked No. 1 overall in 2021. Duke is viewed as the favorite for now, but seeing Kentucky take two trips to see him this month certainly suggests they think they can win out. Texas Tech is also a major player since Kuminga’s brother plays there.
Hardy was just offered by Kentucky last week, and it sounds like he’s someone John Calipari really wants in this class. To this point, he has not been mentioned as a reclass candidate, so he looks like a true 2021 recruit, whereas Askew and Kuminga have been mentioned as candidates to reclassify.
