Recruiting never stops for the Kentucky Wildcats, and that’s why they were in to see two top-10 sophomores Monday in Jarace Walker and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, according to Jake Weingarten:
Kentucky with an assistant in today for Top-10 sophomores Jarace Walker and Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, a source told @Stockrisers.

Both are class of 2022 recruits, the same class as phenom Emoni Bates.
Walker is a 6-6 forward from Florida and IMG Academy and is ranked as the No. 4 overall prospect by 247 Sports. His only confirmed offer right now, according to 247 Sports, is Howard University, though that’s simply because he has two years until he graduates. I would expect that to change.
Huntley-Hatfield is a 6-8 forward, also hailing from IMG Academy and is ranked as the No. 9 overall player by 247 Sports. His offers are a little more generous as he has five confirmed offers already according to 247 Sports; Auburn, Baylor, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, and Wake Forest have all offered Huntley-Hatfield. Much like Walker, I would expect Huntley-Hatfield to be rolling in the scholarship offers within the next year.
Because the Class of 2022 is expected to be the one that’s able to go straight from high school to the NBA, there’s no doubt it’s going to be the most challenging class for John Calipari to recruit since he’s been at Kentucky.
So, it’s good to see Cal and his staff are already putting in work to figure out who they not only can land in this class, but also who will actually play college ball.
