John Calipari Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

Most of the Big Blue Nation throughout the day on Saturday was preparing for their team’s Saturday night football game against the Florida Gators in Lexington.

But Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari was, as always, more than busy recruiting the next marquee talent for his roster. Early Saturday afternoon, Calipari landed one of the bigger fish Big Blue Nation has seen in quite a few years.

Terrence Clarke, the third-ranked recruit in the 2021 class, will re-classify to the 2020 class and only drop just one spot in the rankings. Landing Clarke is a game-changer for the Wildcats on the court, but also a significant asset down the road for reminding high school athletes that Kentucky is a primetime landing spot for top-five recruits.
