Good morning, Big Blue Nation!

It’s a huge day as the Kentucky Wildcats are set to take on the Florida Gators at Kroger Field. The Cats went down to the Swamp last season and soundly beat the Gators on national TV. Mark Stoops is looking to replicate that success on his homefield and once again the game will be nationally televised.

The Gators are not impressed with the Cats and think that last season was a fluke. UF defensive end (and former Dirty Bird) Jonathan Greenard sees nothing special about the UK offense.

As if the Cats didn’t already have enough to play for with the disrespect from the national media and the desire to win for injured teammate Terry Wilson, Greenard just gave Lynn Bowden and the offense some more fuel.

Hey Gators, come see about it.

Quickies

Terrence Clarke primed to pick the Cats and head to the Draft | Boston.com- Terrence Clarke has emerged as one of the top college basketball recruits in the entire country and it’s all but a done deal that he chooses the Cats today at 1:00 PM.

CBS likes Gators, but thinks Kentucky will be better in long run | CBS- The experts at CBS like the Gators -8. But they also think the Cats will be better long term with Sawyer Smith at QB. I’m not sold on either of those prospects but I guess we will find out soon enough.

Power ranking the SEC Week 3 games | Saturdays Down South- Out of the 10 games Kentucky vs. Florida is ranked tenth (!) in terms of enticement. Here’s the reasoning:

This game was more enticing, but now it has lost most of its luster. Kentucky QB Terry Wilson is out for the year and Florida will be without WR Kadarius Toney and could be without star CB CJ Henderson.

This is a battle for SEC East supremacy. This is on ESPN at primetime. It’s the hardest ticket in college football this week. No biggie.

Their number one game? Hawai’i at Washington. I wish I was kidding.

UK vs. Florida in a battle for the East | UK Athletics- At least the rest of the country realizes the magnitude of tonight’s game.

Kentucky recruit visit list for Florida | Cats Pause- Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow look to build on their continued success. And tonight is a huge brick in what they are constructing.

South Carolina considering bill similar to California | ESPN- This is going to become the US government vs. the NCAA when it’s all said and done.

SEC Bold Predictions for Week 3 | Saturdays Down South- This SDS author likes the Cats to shock the world again.

I’ll be doing a pregame show at 6:00 PM and the regular postgame show immediately after the game. Tune in!
