The Kentucky Wildcats open the 2019-20 season against the Michigan State Spartans in the Champions Classic.
We already knew it was going to be Tuesday, Nov 5. on ESPN. Now, we know it’s going to be the late game of the double-header, as the Cats and Spartans will tip off around 9:30 pm EST. The Duke Blue Devils and Kansas Jayhawks face off in the early game at 7 pm EST.

Since the inception of the event in 2011, Kentucky has played the late game in nearly every season, so this is no surprise. And it makes sense to have the biggest matchup as the late game, and that’s what the nation will be treated to as the preseason No. 1 Spartans face a Kentucky team in the top five of most major preseason polls.
