The days after the pre-season ends are some of the most anticipated for NFL hopefuls, and that includes some former Kentucky Wildcats. Unfortunately, some of our fan favorites did not receive good news today, putting a temporary hault on their NFL dreams.
In a shocking and surprising move, CJ Conrad was waived by the New York Giants. Conrad had been projected to make the 53-man roster.
However, Vince Marrow seems to be alluding that Conrad may be headed to the Giants’ practice squad soon.

Derrick Baity and Dorian Baker were also among those cut today. Baity had been putting a solid performance with the Houston Texans, even grabbing an interception in the final pre-season game.
Bunchy Stallings, Jon Toth, and Farrington Huguenin round out the former Wildcats that were cut today, unfortunately.
However, Big George Asafo-Adjei is still currently on the Giants’ roster, even though he is listed as injured.
Chris Westry is also listed as being apart of the Dallas Cowboys’ roster, but is listed as injured.
Benny Snell, to no surprise, did make the Pittsburgh Steelers’ roster and will more than likely serve as the backup to James Conner.
