Former Kentucky Wildcats star John Wall is out for the 2019-20 season as he is still recovering from the ruptured Achilles injury.
But while he won’t be on the court, he is going to use that free time to head to the classroom.
Wall is going back to school to get his degree. Just last week, he finished a final exam for a math class at UK. He’s not a fan of school, but he knows that he must do it.
“My sister’s the first one to get a degree from my family, I’m trying to be the second one.”

“I wasn’t happy about it. I didn’t like to study, but you gotta do what you gotta do to get where you want to be.”
Wall still has two years left to finish his degree but Wall is working to fulfill a promise he made to his dad before he passed away.
This does nothing but add to the amount of respect I have for Wall and all he does.
