The Kentucky Wildcats offense has been based on the running game for several years, and they have always had a workhorse in the backfield to rely on.
With Benny Snell Jr. gone and the other running backs somewhat unproven, the Wildcats had to find a new identity in a “grind it out” type of situation.
While the defense had an outstanding second half to help Kentucky kick off the 2019 season with a win, the offense’s productions came by committee on the ground and through the air. While there were certainly some struggles by the Cats, it’s always good to beat a team that will likely be a bowl team and may even win their conference.
There were several storylines running throughout Saturday’s game, and Twitter captured every single one of them.
By far, the best was seeing the love shown for Jared Lorenzen by Terry Wilson and the UK band.

So in summary, a massive human running full speed should be anticipating the QB slide and stop on a dime, got it

Terry Wilson's passer rating was 177.9 today. Would have been second-best mark last season (Louisville, 203.57).

If you tweet hard conclusions at me right now, I will probably respond but I'm rolling my eyes as I type.
