Thursday Quickies: Two Days until Football Edition

The countdown is on as Kentucky preps for Toledo

NCAA Football: Eastern Kentucky at Kentucky Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

It’s (almost) football time in the Bluegrass!

In just a little more than 48 hours, the Big Blue Nation will begin piling into Kroger Field to see Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats open up their season against Toledo.

Coming off of such an incredible season as the 2018 campaign with the potential for an 8 or 9 win season ahead, my hope is that the stadium will be packed on Saturday to cheer on the Wildcats as they kick off their 2019 campaign.

By the looks of it, there are still plenty of seats available within a wide range of prices.

But whether you’re watching from home or at the stadium, there is no denying there is a lot of buzz going into this season and it’s a great time to be a Kentucky Wildcats fan!

Tweets of the Day

Hopefully the Wildcat has a lot of pushups to do on Saturday.

These highlights never get old.
