The Kentucky Wildcats made history last season after beating the Gators for the first time in 31 years, and did it in The Swamp no less. Now, they’re going for two in a row and will do so in front of a crowd of over 60,000 plus. A win would also be Kentucky’s first triumph over the Gators in Lexington since the 1986 season.
Kroger Field has been no stranger to big-game sellouts the past few seasons. The Mississippi State, South Carolina, and Georgia games last year all sold out and has given the Wildcats a pretty good home-field advantage over the past two seasons.
Combine a sold-out Florida game with a 7 pm, primetime kickoff on ESPN, and you’re in store for what could be another magical night in Lexington, Kentucky.
Now let’s hope they break out some cool jerseys.
