LSU transfer Kelvin Joseph’s recruitment by Kentucky was a bit of a whirlwind.
We found out last week that he was considering Kentucky, then news broke around 9pm on Monday that he was on campus and having a great visit, and then he was committed by midnight.
Getting a top-50 player like Joseph through transfer speaks perhaps more about the state of Kentucky’s program than the major recruiting victories out of high school. Joseph saw action in every LSU game last season besides the bowl game when he was not eligible.
Whenever he is cleared to play for the Wildcats, he is sure to make an immediate impact.
Even with the news breaking so late in the night, Twitter was on fire after the news of Joseph’s commitment to Kentucky. Here are some of the top tweets:

Justin Rogers, Marquan McCall, Chris Oats, Joshua Paschal, Xavier Peters, Jared Casey, J.J. Weaver, Kelvin Joseph, Tyrell Ajian, Yusuf Corker. UK’s 2020 defense will be littered with blue-chips and that’s not even counting Quinton Bohanna, Boogie Watson, DeAndre Square.
