Kentucky’s quest for a new big man could be turning in the direction of one Isaiah Jackson.

According to Adam Zagoria, Jackson is setting up an official visit to Lexington this weekend.

A 6-9, 190-pound power forward out of Detroit, Jackson is ranked 30th by 247 Sports, 21st by ESPN, and 20th by Rivals in the Class of 2020. He currently holds offers from the Michigan State Spartans, Louisville Cardinals, Arizona Wildcats, Michigan Wolverines, Memphis Tigers and Indiana Hoosiers among others.

Michigan State holds all seven crystal ball predictions as of now.

Jackson does not yet hold an offer from Kentucky, as John Calipari likes to issue offers when a recruit visits Lexington. That means we could see Jackson earn an offer this weekend and surge up Kentucky’s big board in terms of 2020 big men.

To this point, Kentucky has offered Isaiah Todd, Lance Ware, Cliff Omoruyi and Greg Brown as far as 2020 bigs go. Kentucky is in good shape with Todd and Ware, while Omoruyi is more of a mystery at this point, and it’s going to be very difficult to pull Brown out of Texas.

With EJ Montgomery likely off to the NBA Draft next year while Nate Sestina graduates, Kentucky needs to add 3-4 bigs for the 2020-21 season, so it comes as no surprise to see Calipari casting a wider net for 2020 bigs.
