For the first time in his career, Kentucky Wildcats quarterback Terry Wilson will start for a second year at the same school. After starting his collegiate career at Oregon, Wilson transferred to play junior college football at Garden City.
Then, once Wilson received his national recognition as a top dual-threat quarterback, “Terry Touchdown” transferred to the University of Kentucky.
In his first year at Kentucky, Wilson led the team to their best record since 1977. After following his defenses’ lead last fall, the second year Wildcat has had a second offseason to further build chemistry with his teammates and is poised for a breakout season.
High expectations rest atop the junior’s shoulders, but life quarterbacking the Wildcats for a second season should come a bit easier this fall. For a more in-depth look, check out this tribute on YouTube by Kentucky Wildcats TV.
