4-star DL Tre’Vonn Rybka picks Kentucky Wildcats

Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Oklahoma were among the schools to offer Rybka.

One day after getting a commitment from a four-star offensive line, Kentucky has scored one in the defensive trenches.

On Tuesday, defensive lineman Tre’Vonn Rybka committed to the Wildcats.

Rybka, a 6-4, 281-pound defensive tackle out of Dickson (TN), was once viewed as a heavy lean toward the homestate Vols. However, Mark Stoops and co. made a ton of progress in recent months to jump into the lead before Rybka picked the Cats.

Among the other schools who’ve offered Rybka include the Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, LSU Tigers, Oregon Ducks, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas A&M Aggies and Virginia Tech Hokies among others.

Rybka joins Deondre Buford as four-star recruits to pledge to Kentucky this week, further solidifying this as a top-25 class that includes six other commitments from recruits who have a four-star rating in at least one recruiting service.
