First college football AP Top 25 Poll released

New, 6 comments

Football is back!

The return of college football is here, sort of.

This Saturday, Florida and Miami kick off the season in Week 0 of the new season before everyone is in action the following week.

Until then, the first AP Top 25 Poll of 2019 was unveiled Monday. To no surprise, Clemson and Alabama made up the top spots. They’re the consensus top two teams in every major preseason ranking, though this poll has the Tigers holding the No. 1 ranking.

As for the Kentucky Wildcats, they haven’t gotten much preseason love, especially in top 25 projections, and that includes this first AP Poll. They did not receive any votes either.
