Kentucky Football added a new member to the team yesterday, and a very special member at that.
Six-year-old Braxton Wessels had one wish through the Make-A-Wish foundation: Live the life of a Kentucky Football player and yesterday, thanks to UK Athletics, he was able to do just that.
Braxton and his family were able to tour the UK Football facilities, meet his new teammates, and take in yesterday’s scrimmage all as part of a fun-filled and jam-packed day yesterday.
Check out the footage from the UK Football Twitter account. It looks like Braxton had the time of his life and a major kudos to everyone involved from Make A Wish of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, UK Football and UK Athletics for making this happen. Those memories will last a lifetime and will mean a ton to that family.
