The college football season is right around the corner. and everyday. it starts feeling more like football season.

As the season approaches, we continue to see more rankings for various positions and Pro Football Focus has released its rankings for all 130 FBS starting QBs. Terry Wilson came in at #46.

“Wilson takes care of the football when needed in the passing game and can take off with it when all breaks down in front of him. That being said, his anticipatory throws are a thing of beauty but need to come far more than they did a season ago for the Wildcats to be considered a scary aerial attack. Until then, Wilson can rely on his rushing ability that is among the nation’s best. His 692 total rushing yards and 417 yards after contact all lead the conference”

Wilson was ranked as the 9th best QB in the SEC behind Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama), Jake Fromm (Georgia), Joe Burrow (LSU), Jarrett Guarantano (Tennessee), Kellen Mond (Texas A&M), Kelly Bryant (Missouri), Jake Bentley (South Carolina), and Feleipe Franks (Florida)

Wilson certainly had his struggles last season, so it’s no surprise he’s being slept on entering the new season. After all, when it comes to Kentucky Football, being slept on nationally is the norm.

However, I fully expect Wilson to have a much better season and we will only see him rise as a QB in the SEC.
