Patrick Patterson has found his next NBA home, and it will be with a team that gives him the best chance at a title he’s had in his eight-year career.
Patterson joins the Clippers after a two-year stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder. This past season, the former Wildcat averaged just 3.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game after going for 3.9 ppg and 2.4 rpg the previous year.
While Patterson has played for playoff teams through his career — which includes stops with the Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors — this will be by far his best chance at reaching the NBA Finals. He joins a Clippers team that has acquired Kawhi Leonard and Paul George this offseason.
