Kentucky Wildcats guard Logan Stenberg is arguably the team’s best offensive lineman going into the 2019 season.
Now, Stenberg is getting some well-deserved recognition, as the senior has been named a preseason Second-Team All-American by Sporting News.
Stenberg has played in 38 career games, starting the last 26 for the Wildcats. He’s played n integral part in helping Benny Snell Jr. set multiple school rushing records.
In 2018, Stenberg started all 13 games as Snell became the first player in program history to record three consecutive 1,000-yard rushing seasons. Stenberg graded out at 85.5 percent for the season, registering 78 knockdown blocks and 154 blocks at the point of attack. He did not miss a single assignment all season and allowed just one sack.
Stenberg is also an SEC Honor Roll member and graduated in May 2019 with a degree in integrated strategic communication and is currently working on a second communication degree.
Between Stenberg, Drake Jackson, Landon Young, Luke Fortner and Darian Kinnard, this has the potential to be one the best offensive lines in the SEC. Stenberg playing at an All-American level would certainly help that come to pass.
