John Calipari has a big vision for 2020, and it involves three of the best guards/wings in the class.
Kentucky already has top 10 prospect B.J. Boston in the fold, but if Cal has his way, Boston will be joined by two other top 10 perimeter players.
Josh Christopher, the 5-star guard who recently received a Kentucky offer, and Jalen Green, a top five prospect who Kentucky has been pursuing for a while, are both still on the table and Kentucky has plans to have all three in Lexington for the 2020-2021 season.
What a trio that would be for the Wildcats. Christopher, Green, and Boston all have the ability to put points on the board and score in a variety of ways while having the versatility to play different positions on the floor. It seems like an excellent fit for Calipari and Kentucky.
It’s certainly not a done deal yet. Christopher and Green are still in the process of planning visits to Lexington and while Kentucky is viewed as a leader for Christopher, Memphis is a real threat to land Green. As for now, there seems to be some momentum trending in that direction.
Those three, along with a big man like Isaiah Todd as well as players such as Cam’Ron Fletcher and Lance Ware, would make for a loaded recruiting class for the Wildcats and send a message that Kentucky and Calipari are still dangerous as ever on the recruiting trail.
