Draft Express

Welcome to Monday, BBN.

The latest buzz around the basketball program is that 2020 big man N’Faly Dante has all of the academics he needs to reclassify to the 2019 class and join a team in order to play this upcoming season. But where he will land is anyone’s guess.

Things recently have been looking better and better for the Kentucky Wildcat in regards to Dante. His last visit was at UK and that visit seemed to have gone extremely well according to sources.

If Dante does reclassify and heads to UK, is he the missing piece that will solidify Kentucky as the National Title favorites? The team as it is currently constructed is stacked but if there is one area of worry it is the front court. Dante will provide one more big talented body for security purposes.

I think this entire thing could wrap up as early as this week. Stay tuned.

Tweets of the Day

Same to you, Nick Richards. Same to you.

I think both guys end up at UK. Green is the third ranked player in the class and Christopher is ranked 10th.

Basketball Cats to get more good news soon? | Lexington Herald Leader- Cam’Ron Fletcher is visiting UK later this week and the Cats are a heavy favorite to land the four star small forward ranked 36th in the class of 2020. Can Cal wrap it up during the visit like he did with Boston?

Chris Moore listing the Cats | Cats Pause- The four star power forward is listing Kentucky as a possible destination. This class is high on guards and low on big men so UK is going to offer more bigs than usual.

The biggest challenge for every new college basketball coach | ESPN- Some jobs are tougher than others and there is a lack of real coaching experience with many of these new coaches.

Jim Harbaugh knows he needs to win more | CBS- Harbaugh was seen as a home run hire for the Wolverines but the success hasn’t been there. Sure, he’s better than Brady Hoke and other coaches before him not named Lloyd Carr, but Michigan fans expect more.

Freddie Kitchens punishes team for fight | USA Today- The new Cleveland Browns coach punished his players by making them all run gassers. Ugh....I hated gassers.

Sporting News college football top 25 | Sporting News- Surprise! Another top 25 without UK on it.
