The recruiting for the 2020 class has started picking up a lot of momentum, as the Kentucky Wildcats secured their first commitment on Saturday when top-10 recruit Brandon Boston Jr picked the Cats.
Now, the Cats are trending for another 2020 recruit, as the recruiting predictions on 247 Sports and Rivals have gone to Kentucky for 4-star power forward Lance Ware. That includes predictions from Jerry Meyer, Andrew Slater and Eric Bossi, three of the best in the business.
The Burlington, NJ star is considering the Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Providence Friars, Marquette Golden Eagles, and the Georgetown Hoyas.
However, the Cats now hold 100% of the predictions, which have all come since Kentucky offered Ware on Friday.
Don’t let the 4-star label give you the wrong idea. Ware is a very talented player, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t climb up to a 5-star before his high school career is over.
With Coach Cal and his staff already off to a great start on the 2020 class, landing Ware would just continue the current recruiting momentum as they start building yet another top-rated class.
