Good morning Big Blue Nation.

Apologies for my absence around the site lately as I have been out of town for the last week or so. In fact I’m still out of town as I write these quickies. But instead of being at a fishing resort in Minnesota like I had been, I am in my Mother in Law’s in Chicago.

I’ve been out of the loop for a bit and was trying to find some content for the Quickies when I came across this interesting article from the Lexington Herald Leader.

Not surprisingly, John Wall is ranked number one on the list. Wall becoming a Kentucky Wildcat signified the start of Calipari’s recruiting dominance and a sea change for the program.

The swagger of John Wall and the national spotlight he brought to Lexington was something we haven’t seen out of a recruit since the Rick Pitino days.

How awesome is this?

Vince Marrow is very high on Justin Rigg.

OBJ mulled retirement | ESPN- The new star wide receiver for the Browns does not have fond memories of his time in NYC with the Giants. It got so bad he thought about hanging it up for good.
