DeMarcus Cousins and his No. 1-seeded Loyalty is Love squad are moving on in The Basketball Tournament.

On Sunday, LIL notched an 88-71 win over 3 seed Fort Wayne Champs in TBT’s Lexington Regional Final at Frederick Douglass High School. Former Baylor star Isaiah Austin notched a game-high 23 points to lead LIL.

With the win, LIL now advances to TBT 2019 Championship Week in Chicago, taking on the winner of the Richmond Regional on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Led by Cousins, who is the team’s general manager, LIL defeated Hoopville Warriors on Friday to kick off TBT, 107-98. They then beat Team KBC 91-80 on Saturday to make it to Sunday’s action.

As for The Bluegrass Boys, who were comprised of former Wildcats that included Dominique Hawkins and Derek Willis, they were ousted in Friday’s first-round action to 7 seed D2, 77-62. D2 was comprised of former Division II basketball stars.

TBT culminates with the winner-take-all $2 million championship game on Aug. 6 (7 p.m. ET on ESPN).
