It seemed like it might just be a matter of time until five-star 2020 guard Josh Christopher received an offer from the Kentucky Wildcats.
Now, Christopher holds the coveted offer and this might be a recruitment the BBN should keep an eye on.
Blessed and honored to receive an offer from Coach Calipari and the university of Kentucky! #BBN pic.twitter.com/VYKKiHolGu

Christopher, a top-10 recruit out of California, really made his name known at Peach Jam over the weekend, averaging nearly 21 points, 6 rebounds, and almost 4 assists per game.
Despite being in California, he has talked at length about his Kentucky fandom. We’ve seen a few of these in recent years where players talk about Kentucky being their dream school and then going elsewhere, but let’s not forget guys like Tyrese Maxey, Khalil Whitney, etc. have also mentioned how they grew up wanting to play for Kentucky.
Christopher projects as a shooting guard at the next level, but at 6’5” with the ability to rebound, he slots in at multiple spots on the floor.
Christopher is also apparently really close with fellow Kentucky target Jalen Green, one of the top players in the 2020 class. A Christopher-Green combo would be a nightmare for opposing defenses.
Could a decision for Christopher be coming soon? He spoke about it with Kentucky Sports Radio’s Jack Pilgrim.
“... I’m just going to go with my heart, honestly. That could be the week after Peach Jam, it could be a year after Peach Jam, so whenever I feel it’s the time, I’ll make that decision.”
Christopher seems like one to watch and could be the first piece in a major 2020 haul for Kentucky.
