The Kentucky Wildcats continue to finalize their schedule for the 2019-20 college basketball season.
On Thursday, the school confirmed the date and TV channel for their annual matchup with the Louisville Cardinals, which will come Dec. 28 on CBS in Rupp Arena. This will be a matchup of two teams in the top five of most preseason rankings, include the latest from ESPN, where UK checks in at No. 3 and UofL at No. 5.
In addition, UK has announced a matchup with the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights on Dec. 7 in Rupp Arena. The Knights went 21-14 last season and won the NEC. As a No. 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament, they defeated Prairie View A&M in the play-in game before losing to No. 1 seed Gonzaga.
This should be a good early December test before the schedule gets tougher with ranked matchups with Ohio State and Louisville.
Two more dates to circle on the calendar.
