A Kentucky target may be taking the reclassifying road, as highly-touted forward JT Thor is planning on moving from the 2021 class to 2020, per Jeff Ermann.
However, Corey Evans of Rivals says the move ‘could’ be made, but Thor is still a member of the 2021 class.
Even so, this is a pretty good indicator that Thor is going to be in the 2020 class at his current trajectory. He currently has offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, Maryland Terrapins, Arizona State Sun Devils, and California Golden Bears.
The Kentucky Wildcats have also shown interest, and Thor even visited for Big Blue Madness last year, then again in January. The 6-8, 190-pound power forward out of Huntington Prep (WV) is ranked No. 8 overall in the Rivals rankings.
Not only will Kentucky likely be more involved with his recruitment, but so will many more big-time programs looking to land Thor if he does make the jump to 2020. I fully expect everyone will start to hear a lot about this kid as the blue bloods start calling and he starts getting more exposure.
Thor has a five-star name, and hopefully, we will see the five-star forward end up in Lexington.
