A pair of four-star prospects will have a little bit of added pressure Sunday.

Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari is expected to watch both Cliff Omoruyi and Niels Lane at Sunday’s Philly Live II high school tournament at Jefferson University in Philadelphia, according to Adam Zagoria of Zags Blog.

Omoruyi is a four-star center from Roselle, New Jersey. According to 247 Sports, Omoruyi is ranked as the 40th-overall prospect for 2020 and 10th-best center. So far, just two crystal ball predictions have been made. One is for Kentucky, and the other is for the home state Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

There was some talk that Omoruyi could reclassify to 2019, but he did confirm he plans to stay in the class of 2020.

As for Lane, he is a four-star shooting guard from Princeton, New Jersey. 247 Sports pegs him as the 66th-ranked prospect for 2020 and the nation’s 14th-ranked shooting guard. No crystal ball predictions have been made, but schools such as Florida, Seton Hall, and Xavier have made offers.

Neither of these two prospects are getting a lot of national attention, but Calipari has proved with Shai-Gilgeous-Alexander and Tyler Herro that he can help develop four-star prospects into impact players and eventual lottery picks.

Thus, Wildcat fans should be watching these developments very closely and be excited about the possibility at bringing the New Jersey natives on board.
