Monday Quickies: Boogie’s Back Edition

Demarcus Cousins comes up big for the Warriors in road win.

NBA: Finals-Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

It’s Monday and I’m sure everyone is struggling to get to work and back into the groove of things.

Demarcus Cousins was able to get back into the groove of things last night as he played his second game in the Playoff Finals. He helped the Warriors get a massive road win over the Raptors by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the 109-105 victory. He started the game and played 28 minutes.

After tearing his Achilles in Sacramento and then tearing his quad early in the Playoffs, many thought that his career was doomed for disappointment. But he proved everyone wrong by powering through the rehab and getting ready to help his team.
