The recruitment of Cade Cunningham is now likely over.
On Tuesday, Oklahoma State hired Cade’s brother, Cannen Cunningham, as an assistant coach. Cannen was previously Tulane’s team’s associate director of video operations.

Cunningham is the older brother of Cade Cunningham, the No. 3 prospect in the 2020 class.
This move has been brewing for the last month, and a host of recruiting analysts have already pegged the Cowboys as Cade’s eventual destination, including Evan Daniels.
A consensus top-10 player in the 2020 class, Cunningham is ranked No. 3 overall by 247 Sports Composite, which measures all of the major recruiting rankings.
The 6-6, 215-pound combo guard recently released his list of 10 schools in consideration, which includes the Kentucky Wildcats, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Memphis Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks, Virginia Cavaliers, Washington Huskies, Texas Longhorns, North Carolina Tar Heels, and the Florida Gators.
But it’s probably a moot point now, as Oklahoma State is in the driver’s seat and probably will land Cade’s commitment soon enough.
