Good morning, folks!
It was a big day for the Kentucky Wildcats football program as Mark Stoops and co. landed two commitments. Three star wide receiver Jordan Watkins committed right after three star offensive lineman Joshua Jones committed.
Watkins is a Louisville native that attended Butler high school and Jones is from Alabama. Both players had impressive offer sheets. Jones had offers from Florida State, among others, and Watkins held an offer from Louisville.
Now the hard part is keeping both players. Football commitments are flimsy and it’s regular practice for kids to decommit not long after a commitment. But my gut tells me UK keeps both guys.

Coach Stoops not very subtle about expecting more players to commit this weekend.
I’m not wrong very often, but I did make a mistake.

We could’ve done a Father/Daughter Camp 5 yrs ago when fathers were begging to do it. Wow, you talk about having fun! So great to see fathers and daughters spending time together.
My guess is next year we’ll have two of these. pic.twitter.com/HtQ5KFlsy2
A very cool event and it looked like a huge success.
Cal on his frontcourt: “We’re good. If we add, fine. If we don’t, we’re good.”

A lot of people are making a mountain out of a mole hill over this comment. I mean, what’s he supposed to say?
Calipari bristled visibly when asked about Jay Bilas’ comment that colleges don’t produce NBA players: I don’t agree. What about Tyler Herro? What about Eric Bledsoe? Maybe I’m missing something. How do 75% of our kids get 2nd and 3rd contracts?

I used to really like Jay Bilas but anymore he comes across as pompous and condescending.
Quickies
Kerry Blackshear could make decision today | All for Tennessee- After all of the momentum seemingly shift towards UK, Tennessee picked up steam throughout the day on Saturday and now they’re the perceived favorites. Although I don’t think anyone knows what he’s doing.
Sources: Kerry Blackshear, the best available transfer, isn’t expected to take any more official visits. The growing thought is he’s extremely close to announcing his decision, which could come as early as Sunday.

I don't think many (anybody?) has really had a firm grasp of what KB is thinking at any point in this whole ordeal. I ignore the wild speculation (who's following who on Twitter, etc) https://t.co/i72BIlCqXx

Camron Fletcher received offer from UK | KSR- The four star forward is picking up steam in his recruitment.
Which basketball Cats will be drafted next year? | Courier-Journal- Tyrese Maxey is the one Cat that is firmly in the lottery as of now but obviously a lot can change.
Aaron Harrison to play summer league with Celtics | Cats Pause- Harrison has struggled sticking with NBA franchises throughout his career. Hopefully this opportunity with the Celtics will be successful.
UConn to the Big East? | Saturdays Down South- The UConn Huskies may be moving back to the Big East. But since the Big East doesn’t have football, what will the Huskies do about that?
Alvin Gentry takes shot at Anthony Davis | CBS- Don’t expect a cordial meeting between the Pelicans brass and AD anytime soon.
WCS on the move? | ESPN- Willie Cauley-Stein’s agent feels like it’s time for his client to move out of Sacramento and I can’t say I blame him.
