Former Kentucky Wildcats star Aaron Harrison is returning to the United States.

After a year playing with Galatasaray in Turkey, Harrison signed a summer league deal with the Boston Celtics, according to ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

The deal comes following a breakout year in Turkey. Harrison averaged 13.1 points per game shooting 44.2% from the field and 80.5% at the free throw line.

Before leaving for Turkey, Harrison had NBA stints with the Charlotte Hornets and Dallas Mavericks and played in the G League systems of the Hornets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers and Sacramento Kings.

Harrison is best known for his clutch shots with the Wildcats as he hit game-winning three-pointers in both the Elite Eight and Final Four in the 2014 NCAA Tournament that saw Kentucky reach the national title game.

With the Celtics retooling their roster, a strong summer for Harrison just may earn him a spot on the team.
