Mark Stoops and his staff have scored a second commitment today.
Not long after Joshua Jones pledged to the Wildcats, Jordan Watkins announced he had picked UK as his college destination.

Watkins hails from Louisville (KY) and plays for Butler Traditional High School. He commits to UK while holding offers from the Louisville Cardinals, Rutgers Scarlet Knights and Central Michigan Chippewas among others.
The 6-0, 180-pound Watkins is ranked 721st overall by 247 Sports Composite, which measures all of the recruiting rankings in addition to being the ninth-ranked recruit from Kentucky. He’s classified as an athlete prospect by ESPN, 247 and Rivals.
Watkins joins Beau Allen and John Young as in-state recruits to pick the Wildcats.
