Told KSR last week that he’s hoping for a scholarship from UK soon because “not a lot of people where I’m from get offers like that.”
Nix is playing his high school basketball at in Las Vegas but is originally from Alaska. Kentucky has been showing more interest as of late, and Nix hopes to meet with John Calipari soon. Joel Justus actually visited him back in May.
According to 247 Sports, Nix is the top-ranked point guard for 2020 and ranks 10th among all prospects nationally.
Thus far, there is no crystal ball predictions, but one school that’s gotten early buzz is Maryland. Nix took an official visit to College Park on November 28th for his lone official visit thus far.
Though no official visit to UK has been made, it’s clear the Cats are in on the top point guard for 2020.
