The NBA Draft has become an annual celebration for all of the Big Blue Nation, as we have now seen 35 players fulfill their dreams of becoming a professional basketball player.
This year, three more Cats are expected to do just that. So, Kentucky has decided to change things up a bit and make the draft a bit more interactive for all the Kentucky fans out there.
Kentucky and the UK Sports Network are going to host a live show Thursday at 7:30 p.m. est. to prep for the NBA Draft and focus in on their four draft hopefuls (PJ Washington, Keldon Johnson, Tyler Herro, and Reid Travis), reported by UK Athletics. It will be hosted by assistant coach Joel Justus and editor of CoachCal.com Tj Beisner.
The Kentucky Basketball Draft Show will be available live on UKathletics.com, CoachCalDotCom, @KentuckyMBB’s Twitter and Facebook channels, @CoachCal.com Twitter and Facebook handles, and @UKSportsNetwork Twitter and Facebook pages.
The show will be a great way for fans to get an behind the scenes look at what goes on during draft night, some special analysis from Beisner and Justus, and they plan to have interviews with some former players.
Over the past 10 seasons John Calipari and this program has done something really special and something like this not only gets fans excited, but it gets recruits a snapshot of what they could expect if they come to Kentucky.
