D’Eryk Jackson picks Kentucky

Another linebacker Yahtzee!

@WLFootball

After a great weekend for Mark Stoops and his staff on the recruiting trail, the Kentucky Wildcats have scored yet another commitment.

This time, it’s from three-star linebacker D’Eryk Jackson, who announced his commitment on Tuesday:

Jackson is a 6-2, 235-pound inside linebacker who plays for West Laurens High School in Georgia. The Peach State native also held offers from the Ole Miss Rebels, Mississippi St. Bulldogs and Purdue Boilermakers among others.

Over the last week, Kentucky has gained commitment from four-star running back Jutahn McClain, three-star running back Torrance Davis, and now Jackson. All three recruits were in Lexington for Kentucky’s football camp that’s been going on since this past weekend.

Elsewhere, Kentucky did miss out on one of its top 2020 linebacker targets in Quandarrius Robinson, who committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide today, which makes getting Jackson even more important for Stoops and co.
