Wandale Robinson is having a rough start to his college career.
The former UK commit and Western Hills (KY) star was cited for possession of marijuana on Nebraska’s campus this past weekend, according to KOLN.
“University of Nebraska police were called to University Suites after a community service officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from Robinson’s dorm room. When officers arrived, they contacted Robinson which led to a search of his vehicle. That is where they found the marijuana, the spokesperson said.”
Robinson, who decommitted from UK last fall and later signed with Nebraska in December, has been in Lincoln since enrolling at the school in January. He will now be arraigned July 9.
It’s a tough way for a promising talent like Robinson to begin college, so hopefully, this turns out to be nothing more than a learning experience for the Bluegrass star as he looks to have a special career with the Cornhuskers.
