Friday Quickies: Countdown to Football Edition

We’re getting into summer, which means sports news is slowing down, but we’re on the countdown until football season around Big Blue Nation.

It is now less than 100 days until football season!

To me, it seems like last season just ended not long ago, but soon enough, the Wildcats will be hitting the field to take on Toledo to open up their 2020 season. The Cats are riding an incredible wave of momentum coming off of a 10-win season and an impressive recruiting haul, which hopefully translates to excitement in the fanbase.

The Cats lost a lot from last year’s historic team, but they bring back a ton of pieces and they feel they have a chip on their shoulder to prove last year wasn’t a fluke. Combine that with a favorable schedule and Kentucky could be in for another strong year.

It won’t be too much longer until we get to see the blue and white back on the gridiron!
