Another NBA Draft means more Kentucky Wildcats will hear their names called and have their dreams of playing professional basketball come true.
In the John Calipari era, 35 Wildcats have been drafted by NBA teams, including 26 first-round selections and 19 lottery picks.
This year, three Kentucky Basketball alumni are projected as first-round picks. PJ Washington could be selected in the lottery while both Keldon Johnson and Tyler Herro are probably going to be taken just outside the lottery.
While only three are projected to be taken, there is also a chance Reid Travis hears his name called in the second round. Travis came to Kentucky for a graduate season in 2018 and played well but did not do much to improve his draft stock.
However, if Travis is not taken, expect him to be picked up to join an NBA squad for their summer league season.
