After a phenomenal first season with the Los Angeles Clippers, Shai-Gilgeous-Alexander has been named to the NBA All-Rookie second team.
SGA came just a few votes shy of making the first team, with Marvin Bagley III beating him out by eighteen votes for the last spot.
Shai held his own in a six game series against the Golden State Warriors, averaging 13.6 ppg to along with 3.1 assists.

A former four-star recruit that John Calipari took a gamble on, Gilgeous-Alexander decommitted from Florida and, in turn, committed to Kentucky and made himself into a lottery pick, taken at 11 overall, just two picks behind of Kentucky Wildcats teammate Kevin Knox.
Knox was a notable miss on the all-rookie teams. Knox was hit-and-miss all season long, showing signs of pure stardom, and then no-showing in some games. I would expect Knox to breakout next season, whether he stays in New York with the Knicks, or is traded elsewhere during the off-season.
