Happy Monday, Big Blue Nation!

Are you as disappointed in the Game of Thrones series finale? I sure am. The good news is that something exciting may be on the verge of happening with Kentucky Wildcats football.

Usually we are looking forward to top 30 recruits committing to the basketball team. It’s never happened to the football team during the rankings era. Justin Rogers, a five star lineman from the state of Michigan, may give the Cats a major boost.

Rogers is the top ranked guard in the country and he’s the number one player in the state of Michigan. The Wolverine faithful have already prepared themselves for missing out on him and Kentucky is in the driver's seat.

Tweets of the Day

At least that’s funny.

It’ll be here before we know it!

Koepka was all business.

Quickies

UK the favorite for Justin Rogers | LHL- The Kentucky football staff offered Rogers when he was still in the 8th grade and they’ve made him a priority ever since. That dedication is likely to payoff today.

UK softball makes Super Regional | UK Athletics- Congrats to Rachel Lawson and the UK softball team as they make it to ANOTHER Super Regional. They defeated VA Tech 11-1 yesterday to advance. They didn’t lose a single game in the Regionals.

War of WIll likely to run in Belmont | WDRB- Barring any mystery illnesses the Preakness champ will compete in the third leg of the Triple Crown. Maximum Security has already declined the invite.

Brooks Koepka wins PGA Championship | CBS- Brooks Koepka had a big lead heading into Sunday yet he won only by 2 strokes. The greens were not kind yesterday at Bethpage Black yet he still prevailed.

Raptors avoid devastating Game 3 loss | ESPN- It took two overtimes and Kawhi Leonard going for 36 but the Raptors outlasted the Bucks and will now focus on tying the series in Toronto.

MLB Power Rankings | USA Today- The Astros are still the class of the League while the AL East is going to be a wild ride. ANd the Reds are 18th!

Game of Thrones Finale: Ashes to Ashes | Rolling Stone- That was about as anticlimactic of a finale as I’ve ever seen. GoT will go down as one of the best made TV series of all time; an achievement of technical and storytelling genius. But unfortunately the writers seemed to care more about just wrapping things up as quickly as possible so they can move on to their Star Wars trilogy instead of giving the fans more of a fleshed out, heartfelt goodbye. Bummer.
