Following the NFL Draft, the Kentucky Wildcats have been on a tear on the football recruiting trail.
They’ve picked up commitments from John Young and Andru Phillips, and now Beau Allen has announced he will make a decision on Monday. If Allen, the local four-star quarterback from Lexington Catholic High School chooses Kentucky, we’re looking at a major string of successes for Mark Stoops, Vince Marrow, and the coaching staff on the recruiting trail.
This 2020 class is shaping up really nicely for Kentucky, and has the potential to be their best one under Stoops. It’ll be a smaller class, but certainly won’t lack for quality of players. Landing Beau Allen will be a big part of that, but Kentucky is also hosting former Michigan commitment Kalil Branham, a top 25 receiver nationally, and some other players that have the chance to be real difference makers.
Let’s see if the coaches can continue their string of success on the recruiting trail and change the dynamics of the Kentucky Football program.
