Kentucky working to get Cam’Ron Fletcher in for official visit

Kentucky may also offer Fletcher a scholarship during the visit.

Ball is Life

When it comes to the Class of 2020, one of the fastest-rising prospects this spring has been Cam’Ron Fletcher

Fletcher is ranked the No. 28 player in the class of 2020, according to Rivals, and has caught the interest of John Calipari and his Kentucky Wildcats. Fletcher is an athletic wing with a great motor and brings rebounding, defense, and energy to the court.

Kentucky has been going after Fletcher hard in recent months, with Kenny Payne leading the recruitment. KP is wanting Fletcher to take an official visit to Lexington, according to Kentucky.com.

“He told me to come on campus for an official visit,” Fletcher said, adding that he thinks he might land the offer when that trip occurs. “I got a high level of interest in them.”

The 6-6, 190-pound Fletcher said that the schools that have been going after him most consist of the Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, UCLA Bruins, Ohio State Buckeyes, Louisville Cardinals, Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Fletcher has already taken a visit to Michigan State and planned on taking one to Kentucky and Michigan over the summer. With Beilein now gone to Cleveland, things may change for him.

As of right now, the Missouri Tigers lead with 75% of the crystal ball predictions for the St. Louis native. Perhaps that could change when he takes an official to Kentucky.
