The Kentucky Wildcats are already off to a strong start in the Class of 2020, and it should get better very soon.
This past weekend, the Wildcats landed a commitment from from-star offensive tackle John Young, arguably the best player from the state of Kentucky.
One player challenging Young for the right to be called the best from the Bluegrass is four-star quarterback Beau Allen, who Kentucky is in great shape for.
Now, Allen has set a decision date for his college commitment. He will make his decision on May 6th, according to Prep Spin.
Allen took his official visit to Kentucky on April 26th, and it went very well by all accounts. The fact that he’s making his decision shortly after the visit only adds fuel to the fire of Kentucky being the favorite.
Turns out, Kentucky is getting all of the predictions at 247 Sports and Rivals. The other schools in the running include the Michigan State Spartans, Duke Blue Devils, Washington State Cougars, Penn State Nittany Lions and West Virginia Mountaineers.
It certainly helps that Young has been trying to get Allen to join him at Kentucky for college.
guess you’re the only one left @BeauAllen11 ... get on board https://t.co/c6mHSABZct— John Young (@the_johnyoung) April 29, 2019
Kentucky should have the Yahtzee dice ready to roll come Monday.
