Good morning, Big Blue Nation!
Try not to be too bummed today. It’s Final Four time and the Kentucky Wildcats aren’t playing. Oh well. Life goes on. Instead of being sad, maybe choose a team to cheer for today and hopefully Monday.
I’m cheering for the Auburn Tigers. They’re SEC compadres and they are riding one of the hottest waves in the country right now. I can’t stand anything ACC, so I need the Virginia Cavaliers to lose today.
If not, the deification of of Tony Bennett and the “right way” will continue. My stomach can’t handle it, folks.
So here’s to Bryce Brown hitting 10 threes and Jared Harper driving past Ty Jerome like he’s not even there.

There was much rejoicing in Reds Country when Yasiel Puig was traded there. But he, and the rest of the outfield, are putting up historically bad numbers in regards to batting.
Buzz got emotional talking about his former head coach, Billy Gillispie, who was the last person he called before flying to College Station. "I just remember saying 'Hey coach, I just wanted to say thanks. I’m flying home.’"

Quickies
How Mark Stoops plans on replacing Snell and Allen | Courier-Journal- Spring football practice is massively important for Mark Stoops. He has to figure out how to replace two of Kentucky football’s all time greats, Josh Allen and Benny Snell. AJ Rose seems to have the top running back spot locked down while Jamar “Boogie” Watson is ready for a breakout season.
Quinton Bohanna ready to take the lead | Lexington Herald Leader- Bohanna was fantastic last season and he’s looking to be even better this year. His football IQ has coaches extremely impressed.
IU and Romeo Langford learn a hard lesson | WDRB- Romeo Langford was tabbed as the savior for the Indiana Hoosiers. They stunk. Bad. And Langford underwhelmed as a one and done. In his article, Rick Bozich is complaining about the lofty expectations yet he was one of the most egregious in perpetrating them.
Will Virginia and Michigan State defeat underdogs? | ESPN- Experts like the big boys today. I’m rooting for the underdogs.
Cats win opening game in road series | UK Athletics- The Cats beat Missouri and they are in desperate need of a series sweep.
