Good morning, Big Blue Nation!

Major congrats to Mike Edwards and Lonnie Johnson as both Cats were taken in the NFL Draft last night.

Johnson was taken in the second round by the Houston Texans and Edwards followed him by being drafted in the third round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Both players had standout years for UK and figure to play roles in the NFL next season.

As the Draft rolls along, we expect more Cats to be drafted. The tally is up to three and it could get as high as six or seven.

Tweets of the Day

That’s the second day in a row one of these NFL guys has seemingly taken a shot at the UK football coaching staff. Much ado about nothing or should we be upset?

It was in a losing effort but Shai Gilgeous Alexander had 22 points last night for the Clippers. None of them were as satisfying as this block of Draymond Green. Who cried for a foul afterward.

I can’t stand the Warriors but watching Kevin Durant last night was a lot of fun. Adds fuel to the best player in the world talk as Lebron James is sitting at home.

Ashton Hagans picked as a player to watch | NCAA.com- Andy Katz composed a list of college basketball players that will make strides next season and Ashton Hagans was one of them.

Hagans’ announcement that he will return to Kentucky locks in an experienced lead guard for the Wildcats. Kentucky needed a player at the point who can shepherd along another high-level recruiting class. Hagans took over the position and excelled. He had close to a 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio and will be counted on by John Calipari to be a leader.

Patriots draft Kentucky native Damien Harris | Boston Herald- Congrats to Harris as he will go from the most storied team in college football to one of the most storied franchises in the history of the NFL. Some guys have all the luck.

Josh Rosen traded to the Dolphins | ESPN- Once the Arizona Cardinals took Kyler Murray with the first pick in the draft, it was all but over for Josh Rosen in Zona. He has a second chance in Miami to prove he isn’t a bust.

Major win for UK softball | UK Athletics- Rachel Lawson’s team defeated the number three Crimson Tide yesterday 4-1. They will play game two tonight at 9:00 PM.

Grading 2019 college basketball coaching changes | CBS- Buzz Williams to A&M and Fred Hoiberg to Nebraska as seens the the “Slam Dunk” hires.

UVA declines White House invite | USA Today- Tony Bennett said it would be too difficult to get all of the guys on his team back together with their different schedules.

All of the records Avengers: End Game will break this weekend | Variety- I’ll have to avoid spoilers for another week or two as I wait for the crowds to die down a bit before I go see. While I’m excited about this movie, I’m more excited for the Battle of Winterfell tomorrow night.
