Are you ready to get hyped for one of Kentucky’s best recruits next season?

Adam Zagoria and Fresh Focus Sports just posted an in-depth documentary about Kahlil Whitney, reported by ZAGSBLOG.

It’s titled “Year of the Dragon,” and it chronicles Whitney’s senior year while highlighting various challenges he and his teammates faced on and off the court.

Whitney, who hails from Roselle (NJ), stands at 6-foot-6 and is currently the 7th ranked recruit for the 2019 class, according to 247 Sports. He’s arguably the most anticipated recruit from this class that will play at Kentucky next season.

The documentary really dives into his life off the court where it discusses his father's troubles and perseverance along with Kahlil having to deal with the death of his great-grandmother during the season.

It also goes into his experiences on the court, both with his current teammates and his future teammates in Tyrese Maxey and Keion Brooks.

“It’s going to be amazing, me and Keion Brooks are going to be going at it in practice every day,” Whitney said. “We’re going to be pushing each other so that’s going to be good. Tyrese is just a good teammate to play with. It’s going to be pretty scary when we get on the court together.”

It is a really great watch and definitely worth the time. Check it out below!
